全球吉庆生肖设计大赛是由北京市文化和旅游局与中央美术学院共同主办的品牌文化活动,旨在推广我国生肖文化,延伸春节文化内涵,推进中华优秀传统文化的国际传播。大赛自2014年创办至今已连续举办11年,累计收到35930件设计作品,获奖作品550件,参加作品征集的设计师来自全国各省市以及25个国家。
The Global Zodiac Design Competition is a brand cultural activity jointly sponsored by Beijing Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau and the Central Academy of Fine Arts. It aims to promote Chinese Zodiac culture, extend the cultural connotation of the Spring Festival and promote the international spread of Chinese excellent traditional culture. Since its establishment in 2014, the competition has been held continuously for 11 years, with a total of 35930 design works and 550 award-winning works. Designers participating in the collection of works come from from various provinces and cities in China, as well as 25 countries.
大赛为设计师搭建文化交流平台,除连续11年在北京开展大赛成果展外,在海内外17个国家举办了40场作品巡展。2025年春节期间,蛇年获奖作品及文创产品在美国、法国、比利时、墨西哥、芬兰、爱沙尼亚、瑞典、挪威、希腊、意大利、土耳其、尼日利亚等12个国家进行推介和展示。设计师的作品成为中华生肖文化的载体周游世界,在国际舞台上得到充分展示。
The competition builds a cultural exchange platform for designers. Besides the exhibition of the competition works in Beijing every year, 40 itinerant exhibitions have been held in 17 countries. The winning works and cultural creative products of the year of the Snake have been promoted and displayed in 12 countries including America,France,Belgium, Mexico,Finland, Estonia,Sweden,Norway,Greece,Italy,Turkey and Nigeria during the Chinese New Year of the Snake. Designers' works have become the carrier of Chinese Zodiac culture, traveling around the world and being fully displayed on the international stage.
大赛邀请知名设计院校教授及资深设计师组成专家评委团队,保证大赛公平、公正、公开。多年来,大赛组织了丰富的线上、线下宣传活动。“2021金牛迎春——生肖设计虚拟展”作为文化和旅游部统筹组织2021年“欢乐春节”线上活动的一部分,以线上展览、视频等形式面向60余家中国驻外文化和旅游机构以及国内外各类新媒体平台,在全球范围内开展线上传播,浏览量累计近100万次,被36家驻外机构选用。自2022年起,全球吉庆生肖设计大赛成果展增设巡展活动,并开发了线上观展通道,丰富观展形式,为海内外公众提供了线上生肖文化盛宴。
Professors and senior designers from well-known design colleges are invited to form a team of expert judges to ensure the fairness, justice and openness of the competition. Over the years, the competition has organized a wealth of online and offline publicity activities. As a part of the “2021 Happy Chinese New Year” online activities organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, “Happy New Year of the Ox: Virtual Exhibition of Chinese Zodiac Design” has been presented online globally in the form of online exhibitions and videos through the platforms of 36 out of more than 60 China’s cultural and tourism institutions abroad and various domestic and overseas new media platforms, attracting nearly 1 million views. Since 2022, the Global Zodiac Design Competition has added tour activities, and developed an online exhibition channel to enrich the exhibition forms, providing an online cultural feast for the public at home and abroad.
2022年,为了共享设计成果,推动生肖设计文化发展,大赛建立了“吉庆生肖设计”数字资源库,标志着生肖大赛成果资源实现了“线上共享”。“吉庆生肖设计”数字资源库基于云存储、云计算和大数据技术进行设计制作,在充分尊重和保护版权的基础上,提供历届生肖大赛获奖作品的存储、管理、展示、推广等服务,具有极高的界面友好性和功能创新性。海内外公众可通过Web端和手机端查看历届生肖大赛的获奖作品及其设计说明,更加便利地体验生肖艺术作品的独特魅力。
In 2022, in order to share the design achievements and promote the cultural development of Zodiac design, the competition established a digital resource database of "Zodiac Design", which marked the achievement resources of Zodiac competition were "shared online". The digital resource library of "Zodiac Design" is designed and produced based on cloud storage, cloud computing and big data technology. On the basis of fully respecting and protecting copyright, it provides services such as storage, management, display and promotion of winning works of previous Zodiac competitions, with extremely high interface friendliness and functional innovation. The public at home and abroad can view the winning works of previous Zodiac competitions and their design descriptions through the Web and mobile phones, and experience the unique charm of Zodiac art works more conveniently.
近年来,大赛探索项目品牌化、市场化发展,推出"生肖设计+”产品开发,以原创作品为基础设计制作了邮册、服装、饰品、文具、家居用品等20余款年轻、时尚、新潮的文化创意产品,并在服贸会香港国际旅游展、北京国际非遗周、北京礼物等多个大型活动与平台惊艳亮相。
In recent years, the Global Zodiac Design Competition has been exploring brand development and market-oriented growth strategies. Through its “Zodiac Design+” product development initiative, the competition has created over 20 types of youthful, fashion-forward, and trendsetting cultural and creative products based on original designs, including philatelic collections, apparel, accessories, stationery, and homeware. These products have made remarkable appearances at major events and platforms such as the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), Hong Kong International Travel Expo, Beijing International Intangible Cultural Heritage Week, and Beijing Gifts.
经过11年的发展,全球吉庆生肖设计大赛逐步树立了自身的品牌形象。未来,大赛将进一步与设计界重要资源方充分合作联动,持续提升征集作品质量,扩大大赛品牌影响力;加大海外宣传力度,让更多国家和地区的设计师参与进来,用设计作品诠释中国生肖故事;继续探索设计作品的产品落地转化,将符合现代人审美需求的传统生肖文化元素融入到日常生活中,进一步推动中华优秀传统文化的创造性转化、创新性发展。
After 11 years of development, the Global Zodiac Design Competition has gradually established its own brand image.
